Evening Stroll and Dinner at Lu Lu's

Pictures with the Duke

Dinner and a Stroll

After the long day at the Beach we headed home and got ready for dinner and a stroll. We took a stroll down Waikiki Beach and found a really awesome place to eat seafood!!! Lu Lu's. It is an open air restaurant and the view was spectacular.

After dinner there was some time for shopping and one more stroll along the beach at night. The moon was out and the sand was between our toes. what a beautiful evening.

Time for Bed....Pearl Harbor tomorrow!!

Barb and JoAnn testing there masks.

Hanauma Bay 5/6/09

We had another awesome breakfast at the Hula Grill this morning :) .. 1 Pancake and 1 Egg for me:) We really like the Pineapple Boats!!!

We left early for an adventure! Snorkeling at Hanauma Bay!!

We hopped on the the (very crowded ) City Bus and headed to the bay with about 60 other tourists. 2 dollars each way. :) Going Green in Hawaii ...

I found the seating very adequate...however the people standing were not as happy :( sorry JoAnn

When we arrived we watched a short video about snorkeling in the bay, grabbed our gear and headed out. Almost as soon as we entered the water we were able to see fish!!! It was very exciting. We were able to see Sea Turtle's, Yellow Eels...and all kinds of colorful fish

What a relaxing day at the beach. Can't wait for the underwater photos.

After our first sunset

We headed back to our hotel for "drinks and appetizers" on the lanai by the beach. The view and the evening were spectacular! Too bad JoAnn doesn't like coconut! Then we went to the International Market for a preview of our shopping options. Lori and Diana were pathetically tired so we called it an early evening and toasted each other in our room!

Arrival in Waikiki

First thing we did is check out the satin sand on Waikiki beach. Diamond Head volcano is in the background and the sand is between out toes. Our room has a great view of the beach/ocean and everyone here is SOO accommodating.

Arrival in Honolulu

After a long flight we were ready to begin our Hawaiian adventure! The leis smelled so good!
